Fictional Fever Week: Wrap Up

Happy Valentine’s Day, fellow bookworms! I hope your day is filled with lots of good things–and of course, love! It’s one of my favorite holidays, which is why I dedicated an entire week to celebrating it on Fiery Reads! All week, some of my best friends and favorite bloggers had some amazing guest posts that were meant to get everyone in the love-y spirit and get you pumped for today.

Sad that you missed it? Don’t worry–today, I’m wrapping up the event with a recap of all the posts. The contest will also still go on for a week, so you still have time to get those entries in to win any book mentioned during the event!

Without further adieu, here’s the recap of Fictional Fever Week! Interested in a post? Click on the “day” and you’ll be taken straight to that post!

DAY 1

Gee @ A Book and a Cup of Coffee shared which fictional characters she’d be spending her Valentine’s day with. She also shares a little advice if you’re feeling down about not having a person to share the day with (single ladies, unite!)

DAY 2

Love doesn’t have to be romantic–friendships and familial relationships are just as important, if not moreso! On this day, Hannah @ Oh The Book feels shared her favorite platonic relationships in YA fiction. And because all good posts have this, Harry Potter is involved!

DAY 3

Fictional love is great, but what about some blogger love? On day 3, Anissa @ She Reads Too Much shared some of her favorite bloggers. If you’re looking for some blog recommendations, or want to spread more blogger love, check this post out!

DAY 4

ffw-schedule

What’s Valentine’s Day without our favorite fictional couples? Reading about them is almost just as good as experiencing it for ourselves. For day 4, Ava @ Bookishness and Tea shared her favorite OTPs!

DAY 5

lol please ignore the typo that i just noticed

Sometimes you enjoy a simple, upfront romance, but other times you love the angst and uncertainty of a love triangle (or maybe that’s just me?). Ari @ The Daydreaming Bookworm has you covered–on day 5, she shared her favorite love triangles!

DAY 6

ffw-schedule

On day 6, Lillie @ Little Lillie Reads shared a few mini book playlists for some romantic books. Iย don’t know about you, but books + reading + Valentine’s Day = an A+ day.

DAY 7

Paige @ The Paige-Turner finished off the week with a bang. Who needs romantic partners when you’re as badass as these awesome ladies? Paige shared some of her favorites with us on day 7!

I just want to say thank you so much to all the amazing ladies who participated in this event. It’s my first time ever doing something like this, and you guys made it so much fun. You’re all welcomed back to the blog any time you want!

As a farewell of sorts, I also want to share some of my favorite books that have romance in them! These are also an option if you win the giveaway. Some of contemporary, some are fantasy, but all are amazing!

  • The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
  • Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry
  • The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
  • The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
  • Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
